Yesterday I was thinking to myself, totally outa the blue for god knows what reason...."when will my watch stop coz Ive had it a cupple of years".

I have just looked at it to see the time....and it has infact stopped.....7.07......and 7 is my fav number....spooky or what?

Here's another one. I have'nt seen or spoken to my sister for 4 years (Family probs). Nevertheless this did'nt stop me thinking of her over the years. On thursday night I had a vivid dream about her,she was trying to reach out to hold my hand.Yesterday out of the blue she phoned me to apologise about the argument that parted us,I was stunned!

Hi URJ, I have 3 sisters who all turned against me just because I was researching our Dads family tree! Dont ask me why they objected as I did'nt find anything untowards. I was always closer to my elder sister maybe that why I used to think of her over the years. Im hoping to go visit her for a couple of days next week. She had the decency to apologise so Im willing to let bygones be bygones. I hope you and your brother make it up someday:--)

FINA Well, i think it's the correct thing to accept her apology. she has obviously thought long and hard and knew she went over the top. Its a difficult thing to apologise, so fair play to her for swallowing her pride! (can't see why you researching your family tree was a problem though)

Re my brother:-One day, i hope for that too, but right now, i am a bit too angry anyway.The hardest thing is that we were incredibly colse, he gave me away when i married and is Godfather to my eldest son and then out of the blue, he cut me from his life. My poor Mum is 71 though and it breaks her heart. I tried many a time to make amends but he was having none of it. I am satisfied i did my bit and can do no more. Families eh, who'd have em!

How right you are URJ. Its said you can choose your friends but not your family! I was very angry and upset when my sisters turned their backs on me but gradually over the years I decided there was nothing I could do about it and learned to live with me being "The Outcast". I knew I'd done nothing wrong so had no need to apologise. As for you,you've tried to make amends only to be knocked back so what more can you do? I feel sorry for your mum,it must be hard for her. x
