how good are you abers at keeping a secret! can you not help youself sometimes and tell someone? or is a secret safe with you?

as far as i am concerned a secret is exactly that...a secret!! if someone told me never to repeat something i wouldnt. i dont think i could!!!

Silly little things that wouldn't harm anyone I might divulge, I think most people would.

Anything that I or the person who told me the secret thought was serious I definetly wouldn't tell a soul...unless someone else was going to get hurt by it! I'm talking like if someone I knew was having an affair or something, then I'd try and convince them to tell their partners. Its a tricky one that....

when i was younger,so much younger than today, me and my mates use to tell each other secrets,knowing dam well we would be telling the rest of the lads in a short while!!!

it even came OUR thing in the end....................... dont say anything BUT................!!!!

I agree with gill, tho I could'nt keep quiet if it was so serious as for knowing something like eg: Maxine Carr covering up for Huntley or knowing my husband was the yorkshire ripper..but no-one in there right mind would..would they.

A particular person at work, a much younger woman has told me stuff in confidence that i would never dream of divulging as she has trusted me enough to tell and is also a good friend

i'm ashamed but i can never keep my mouth shut - if i know something secret i generally tell my other half as i find it difficult not to tell her everything i'm thinking about (much to her annoyance generally :)

though obviously if it is one of her secrets i don't tell anyone else - she is the only one i will always blab too... am clearly a very bad man

I tell my best friend everything and id like to think she does the same....... its a very strong bond though so i don't have a problem with that.

I do find it next to impossible not to tell people stuff about myself which is meant to be secret..... this is proving to be more of a problem than i thought..... i'm slowly learning though as i realise how little you can actually trust those you think are you're friends.

It depends what the secret is, and who it is about. I have to keep supervisions confidential at work, and sometimes the things I get told are sooooooo juicy, but I'm not aloud to tell anyone. It's a nightmare!x

A secret is safe with me. If someone tells me a secret then I want them to be able to trust me with a secret in future.

If I ask someone to keep a secret and the next day they've told every Tom Dick and Harry then I know not to tell them a SECRET again.

at my last job, I was a union rep in addition to being a nromal employee. I learned so very many secrets, both about individuals, and the company I worked for. I absolutely never told any of them, to anyone. I'm the same in my privatae life, secrets are secrets. End of.

Well I would like to think Im good at keeping a secret, but I tell my boyfriend EVERYTHING! So I guess im not that good- unless that's normal to share everything with your mate. But I would never share something a friend told me with another friend.
