Wow, what a gentleman you are. I'm not sure what I'd do to be honest. It all depends on a few factors e.g how serious the relationship is (not at all to you!)... By the sounds of it, as you claim you've been with a few, the likelihood is at some point, she'll find out especially if she goes out with the delightful friends and they have a drink, things always come out with drinks. Were you careful? If not, if you were sleeping with a few people and they were sleeping with a few people and none of you were being careful, all sorts of delightful things could be rocking around your systems.

I feel really sorry for this girl having such a bunch of ratfinks in her life. I hope whatever happens, she eventually comes out of this ok.

He's been unfaithful, he can't change that, he's realised he shouldn't have been so all that's left to do is either

a. cause her a great deral of pain and suffering and tell her and probably screw up a relationship that might now work and make her realise all her freinds are total s***s, or

b. lie through his teeth and love and cherish her for the rest of the time they are together. Something positive has come out of this, he now knows her friends are worthless backstabbers and he's realised that he shouldn't have cheated.

and in answer to Laurence2, I was serially unfaithful to my first wife ( our realtionship had bigger problems than that) and my second wife gave me a carte blanche to sleep with whomsoever I chose when we first got together 9 years ago as her hypothesis was that men are not natuarally monogamous and it's almost destructive to a realtionship to try and make them so. However, interestingly, she's always kept my attention and I've not found another woman interesting enough to ever take her up on that.
