What stupid things scared you when you were little.

Pixi ! I was exactly the same ! I was petrified of flushing the toilets, I had to get my mum to do it after I'd gone back to bed safely ! lol I don't know why, but I kept thinking something would happen if I flushed it...There was also a kid's program on Tv that scared the cr4p out of me and gave me nightmares....dunno if you had the same in the UK : some weird creatures lived in an old man's walls...the old man had a dog ( a puppet ), and the creatures had some sort of queen that was absolutely terrifying !!! lol I'm sure it'd scare me to death even today...

yeah i no the needles thing is weird BUT i watched a film were it happened and it scares the **** out of me. but im the same even if im really hot i still have to have a sheet over me even if i roast to death. i cant be exposed either.

I really didn't like beards! All that facial hair gave me the right heebies. When I went to a friend's whose dad had a beard, he had to sit upstairs in the bedroom. Bet he loved me.

I just remembered something my ex did.. I hate those porcelain dolls and we used to sell them in the shop I worked with him in (where I met him) and there was a broken one and it was out the back of the shop with the damaged stuff.. I hated it looking at me with its cracked face so I kicked it in the face so it was all broken up. My ex thought it would be funny to take it out of the box and prop it up in the stock room so when I went back out, it was missing from the box and I would be scared. I sh!t myself and couldn't find it for ages and then it was down by my feet leaning against the fire extinguisher.. I was so scared. I cried! Plus after that he took its eyes out and cellotaped them in the till! Ewww!

Hi all some funny answers today, i was very scared of a poster of Bono out of U2 which my older siser used to have up in our shared bedroom. I absolutely hated it, it was up for a couple of months then my dad made her take it down. Because it freaked me out to much. I still hate U2 till this day. Cheers Honey xXx

I used to be really scared of the nine o'clock news!!!! stupid i know, but i was terrified they were going to announce a nuclear war with Russia! I couldn't stay in the room with it on and usually switched it straight over. Stupid,like that would have stopped it happening!!!!!

I remember my daughter watching Planet of the Apes just once when she was little. Once was enough! For a long, long time I had to check under the bed, in the wardrobe and behind the curtains, every single flippin' night. She still remember how scared she was of "one of those monkey things being in the room"
