What are the symptoms of appendicitus (please excuse the spelling).

Although, I had an appendicitis when I was 11. I had an almighty pain in the abdomen and no fever and no vomiting.

Then it ruptured. Then I had a fever like you wouldn't believe and don't remember vomiting as I was rushed into theatre about 5 minutes after they realised my temp was so high and I was in absolute agony.

If you are concerned about a loved one, don't wait, go ring the out od hours doc.

Also, the pain is often worse on the left side than on the right, and is more painful to press down and let go of quickly than it is to press down and let go slowly. No idea why, I'm not an actual medical doctor.
