forearm injury during bicep curls

I keep suffering from a recurring injury down the outside of my forearms when doing bicep curls during training. The injury is just under the bone and makes it feel like it is heavily buised inside. If anyone has ever suffered from shin splints from running, the injury I get is a similar kind of pain. Is there anyway in which to prevent this. I have tried resting for a long period of time but the injury always returns. I have analysed my lifting technique and it is steady and fine.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Could it be that you are not warming up sufficiently before your exercise regime? . Do you train in vest/teeshirt? Try keeping a sweat shirt handy, and when you finish exercising, put it straight on to prevent muscles cooling too quickly. Also, look at your whole regime. Exercising opposing sets of muscles (for example, biceps and triceps) in the same session can cause them to pull against each other. This has, in extreme cases been known to break bones!!
