Have you tried Tommy Girl by Tommy Hilfiger? Its quite fruity but i've always found it sticks around for a while, also Be Delicious (green) by DKNY has a similar effect.

Could be something to do with your skin chemistry, i've had similar problems in the past, but after some experimenting found that the above tend to hang around for the duration.

i wear gucci envy or prada, both stay on me all day and smell gorgeous

You may not think it's there, but it usually is. Just that you've got used to the smell. It's said that if you can smell your own perfume after half an hour, you're usually wearing too much. Then you become one of those awful women who only get noticed because they reek of the stuff.

Saying that, a better quality perfume will obviously last longer.
I usually find that "eau de parfum" rather than "eau de toilette" stays on longer! i think this is because it is a higher concentration (not sure though!) Its usually more expensive though!
if you put some of your purfume on a piece of cottonwool and place it down your bra it will last longer
I agree with SaxyJag, after a while you get used to the smell so your brain classes it as safe and blocks the smell out, but others should still be able to smell it or something like that!

In saying that I find I still get the occasional whiff of Leau dIssey throughout the day when I wear it

I wear Flower by Kenzo and I can't smell it on me after a few hours, but other people can. When I get in from work (about 9 hours after I have put perfume on) my husband can smell it on me.

If anything I find Kenzo a bit heavy, but Happy by Clinique is fresh and summery and light, although it stays on well all day. Otherwise, why not buy a little handbag atomiser that you can refresh during the day?

Only thing is there is nothing worse than somebody wearing too much perfume cos it doesn't matter what it is it smells awful!!

In the pink by Lacoste

Boudoir by Vivienne Westwood

Allure by Chanel

Coco Madamoiselle by Chanel

Out of all the perfumes I have I would say these ones last the longest.

I have been using Poeme for the last 10 or so years.
I suppose you stop really smelling it yourself, after a while, that might be your real problem.
People have sometimes commented on my perfume in the afternoon, which means it stays on at least until then from the morning.
Spray it on your clothing - the scent will last much longer.

I don't like heavy perfumes so that's what I do to ensure the scent "sticks". Perfumes I love (and I've quite a collection going on!) ar Lolita Lempicka, and Anna Sui Dreams. I love anything sweet and dreamy :)

Like all the other good people have said, your nose becomes used to the smell. (There is an advert on telly at the moment for a new air freshner which sprays out 3 different fragrances every 45 minutes, purely because after a while you stop smelling the smell !)

Eau de parfum lasts longer than eau de toilette because it has a higher concentration of the fragrance. Pure perfume lasts even longer but is very expensive!

Another way of making a fragrance last longer is to "layer" it. This involves using the shower gel or bath foam of the fragrance, followed by the body lotion and then the perfume itself. The idea is that as the perfume wears off the smell of the lotion comes through and once that has worn off, the smell of the shower gel is still there. Of course, this can be quite pricey and might be better left for when you are going out for an evening rather than every day use. :o)

im not sure what it is called, but you can buy a sort of skin preparation which you spray on & leave to dry & then spray your perfume over it & its supposed to last twice as long- try asking in boots.

Calvin Klein - Euphoria, got this for my birthday and loads of people like it, wore it at work, went out of my office went back in later and thought wow that's a nice perfume. So it stays on me and lingers.

Thierry Meugler - Angel, chocolatey mmmm, quite strong so the lighter Angel Innocence might suit better but both good staying power.

Guy Laroche - Fidgi, all time favourite, flowery, scrumptious and gets better as the day or night goes on

Hi stylinsam I wear gucci eau de parfum II its really feminine but not headachy and lasts well. Another one is Dolce and gabbana light blue that last absolutely ages and is very distinctive x
