Whats happened to Answerbank?

Like I said! I am not to offend anyone. So no need to get shirty. I used to be on AB a lot last year. Different user name obviously, as I am a newbie greenie again.

How has AB changed? I am on most days and I don't notice too many differences, maybe that is like other people are the only ones who notice how big your kids have grown. lol

Well if you have been on before you will know that we always have a regular (possibly annual) influx of new posters asking the same questions about celebrities you would like to sleep with, who is the best member of AB, when is the last time you had sex, how big is your willy, I fancy you, do you fancy me? etc etc - you know, all the really important stuff.

In fact, you have returned in perfect time to see the annual frenzie of Big Brother Q&A in the Film & TV topic. It's really good innit.

To me the Body and Soul section has changed. And yes maybe you dont notice it. And maybe I am just the only one who does?

I've been on here a while now and I know what you mean. Its like people are just trying so hard to make up a question just so they can have a bit of a chat. I�m all for a laugh and a bit of conversation but sometimes the questions are completely boring and I cant even be bothered with them anymore.

I have got nothing against folk wanting to chit chat either. But some of the questions did seem rather stupid. But maybe it was just because they wanted to chatter.

It has not gone unnoticed aquestion, very often the irony of some of the dafter questions is lost on the people who are posting questions just to get a chat thread in under the wire, ;)

i am guilty of being chatty, and yes i totally agree that it is more of a chat room sometimes,but hey ho, its only friendly banter most of the time,no one got injured!

but saying that, i do spend a lot of time in H&G and motoring answering and asking genuine questions?

I tend to agree with 4getmenot too.Whilst I post some daft questions -i also post some very serious ones too - but some days I notice that the same person will post 4 or 5 totally random things just to get a reaction or a chat.

Quite simply, B&S has taken over from Chatterbank, thats the differnce, but you still get a fair share of serious questions also, and apat from some peaple leaving, and as has been said, a fair amount of newbies, its still a good site.
