Ooohh - silly me - thank you devilwoman x

Just to add, made popular in usage by the Harry Enfield Stavros (was it Stavros? - can't remember now...) character.

Anyway, he was a Greek/Turkish Kebab shop character who called people "peeps", and it grew from that

It's obvious that Dollie doesn't watch the children's TV programme, The Hoobs.

In every edition, the Hoobs - creatures from outer space ***'** learning about our planet - seek the advice of 'tiddleypeeps'. These, as you can probably work out, are children. On the rare occasions that adults are referred to, they are, of course, known as 'peeps'.

I've been edited!!!

It seems that, by using the shortened version of 'who are' (with an apostrophe), AB thinks that I've introduced a 'woman of ill repute' into children's TV :-)
