Ok.. I am having a debate in Msn with someone about this.

If a man is in a relationship and he cheats on his partner with another woman. Is it the womans fault for tempting him away from his partner or his fault for not being able to say No?

It is like a crime. He is the principle but the bird certainly aids and abets.

My arguement is (a cr@p one) but there will always be woman trying to tempt men but if the man has the integrity to say No then problem solved!

he is the one breaking a bond, a promise, a trust, and hurting and disrespecting someone he is supposed to care about.

she is single and is not obliged to live her life worrying about this other woman, though most people would have some feelings of remorse for hurting another woman.

she has made no promises and isn't breaking any.

this is put bluntly of course. I know there is much more to consider but that is the basic situation.

All's fair in love and war... The woman has no loyalties to the man's partner, it's the man that's at fault. For some reason though, a lot of women seem to like to blame the other woman, speaking as someone who's been both the partner and the "other woman"! Experience has taught me, if he'll do it to her, he'll probably do it to you too!
Question Author

Joko and Katie I completely agree and I think the reason women blame 'the other woman' is coz its easier to believe that this woman lead your man a stray than to think that he went of his own accord. Its easier to blame someone you don't know and more than likely hate.. than someone you love and who was meant to love you in return. But I agree 100% Katie.. 'All is fair in love and war' ;o)

Its his fault, no doubt about it, also works the other way around.

100% with joko

What they said.

The person who breaks the 'bond' is solely responsible IMO. I have been in a marriage where i had the affair. It was TOTALLY down to me and nothing to do with the other guy.

"There will always be women trying to tempt men" Oooooh! Where? :o)

and B4 anyone has a pop at me - I'm single! Cue, "Hm, i wonder why?"! :o)

Where the bl00dy hell did Wardys posts go? Now it looks like I was talking to myself!

Craig I take it you mean 'women who cheat'? I agree on that too but was just using the man example as thats what me and a mate were talking about. I should have said 'is the the person in the relationships fault'.

Purpose - Its good that you know it was your fault... did your partner see it that way when he found out? Or did he not find out?

Hey SurreyGuy.. I'm the SurreyGirl :o)

He didn't find out Ruby... we split and i married the guy i had been seeing.

Lol @ SurreyGuy!!

Question Author

Awww Purpose.. there are some happy endings.. well not for the guy who got jilted. Lol.

More women leave partners for another person than men do.. Men tend to be happy cheating.

Lol... *looks innocent*...
I don't think the blame can be placed on one person, it as they say takes two to tango.
