Anyone tried that spray-on plaster stuff?

I'm slightly accident prone, and hence end up with cuts and scrapes quite a bit. Ordinary stick-on plasters just don't seem to stick, especially to my hands, which are wet a lot of the time as I'm a cleaner. I thought I'd try that spray-on stuff, but wanted to ask other ABers what they thought of it before I paid the �7 or so for it. Thanks!

I dont know what you mean by spray on stuff, but I use "liquid skin" whichyou kind of paint on (like clear nail varnish) It hurts like a bu**er when you put it on a raw wound but it really does work, forms a waterproof and airtight seal

if you cant get regular plasters to stick, warm them up before you use them. i find that fabric plasters will stick like glue if you can get them warm enough. not hot, just warm.

�7 is expensive for something that would probably wash off first time you dipped your hands in water.

cant you use latex gloves for work ?

The new skin stuff doesnt wash off (in fact I used to take great delight in peeling it off lol) The reason I used it is because plasters REALLY really make me want to throw up uuurrrrggghhh

that plastic skin stuff is good but it smarts a bit and like mycats says you can even peel it off like a scab [ but you cant chew it like a scab]

wow that taken me back, my nan used to use it on me when I was ickle and scraped my knee :-) Didnt last long though as I was always so tempted to peel it off. :-)
