I really think you need the vet, youv'e got so many things wrong,he might put you down though!!!

I obviously take it that you don't suffer from hayfever in which case you haven't a clue what it feels like. If you did you would understand! Instead of posting sarcy remarks that don't help!!
I do but I take Piriton,simple isn't it!!!
Why didn't you just ask for a remedy for hayfever, instead of lots of questions?,if you are serious,I would seriously suggest you try to find a supplier of local honey in the area you live, this will build up your immune system, honest

could try this.

put a few drops of BABY shampoo into a bowl of warm/hot water. (not too hot !) give it a mix and wash your eyelids, including the area where your eyelids come togeather when you close them.

i was told to do this a couple of years ago after i had a serious eye infection. (both eyes) i was amazed how good it felt, even after the infection had cleared.

I take medication for it regularly, medication does help as I go all day without suffering from the symptoms. But at the evening time when the pollen is dropping I find my symptoms are worsening, particularly itchy eyes and itchy throat, which is quite irritating! So I was wondering if anyone knew any quicker ways to help the symptoms as medication takes awhile to build up!!

'raysparx' as the saying goes 'if you have nothing helpful to say don't say anything'

I do have hayfever, honest!!
the honey does work giraffe.
Question Author
I am aware that honey works I was referring to the other parts of his answers!!

giraffe,

The only reason I answered as I did first of all,was I thought it might be a joke question, seeing that it isn't I tried to answer it seriously, apologies for first part but my suggestion for the honey is a genuine one that if you persist with will build up your immune system, but it has to be local honey, after a while 1 or 2 piriton a day will work 24 hours per day I know, cos it worked for me,my eyes used to be really sore, but now they are fine, Ray

I can't help with the q giraffe, but in defence of Ray, I too thought this may be a joke simply because you posted so many questions in quick succession yesterday all with something wrong with you so it did make me wonder if you were being serious. I also apologise if this is not the case.
I have also been driven mad with itchy eyes and have purchased Allereze eye drops from the pharmacy in Boots.Great relief after about half an hour but find that I need to use them every 4-5 hours and I have to be very strong willed not to start rubbing my eyes as it is hard to stop and only aggravates the situation.Hope you can find a solution to your problem it is no joke.

obviously eye drops but i also put vics or tiger balm near my eyes to make them water.

don't put anything in them but one of those nasal inhalers can be brushed across your lashes and will make your eyes water - it feels really refreshing.

I only asked two questions about itchy eyes and itchy throat, maybe you should of worded your answers better.

All I asked them for is to see if anyone could help at the time. Thats the idea of the Answer Bank, you ask questions to see if anyone can help!!

How I worded the itchy eyes question is how I was literally feeling!!!

Question Author
Thank you to those who did help!!
How many times people got to apologise to you, untill you are gracious enough to accept it?
Question Author

OK I accept your apology, thanks for your advice on the honey. :-) I will try it as other people have mentioned this on other occasions.

do you know where I could get local honey from Ray?

Hi giraffe,

I got mine by going to the local health food shop, who luckily had a supplier that lived in the area, that is probably your best bet, but we sometimes have adverts appear in the local paper as well, good luck,Ray
