sore throat!

i had my tonsils out yesterday, i am feeling tired and weak and my throat is agony - anyone (except that freakin mad russian chick) got anything to cheer me up on this saturday night? !

i thought that aswell but nowadays they make you eat really hard stuff... dry toast and cereal to get your throat working again !! i was in tears this morning in the hospital !! they said it would be painful but i can't barely speak !! i'm staying at my parents tonight and they have gone out for dinner, and so its me, big brother live and the dog !!!

yeah, i keep thinking that ! and my mum has got me some really good ice cream!! (told her it had to be the best !!) also have 2 weeks off work, hmmm, i'm cheering myself up !

they can't stop u eating ice cream if u are at home, if it worked for decades then what's the problem with ice cream after a tonsilectomy now? get a huge tub and get stuck in girl! wash it down with a voddy too to take the pain away! (unless of course u are under 18 then just have cider lol)

I had mine out as an adult and they didn't warn me that they could become infected! The pain was relentless. Be warned that if the pain is high this is a possibility. :-)

hi guys ,feeling a bit better today thanks, well still sore but the painkillers are helping, i'm just really tired aswell, slept all morning till one of my friends came to visit (which cheered me up!) the weather is nice here though and so i am trying to chill in the garden !

You poor thing, I sympathise, I had mine out in feb, im 20 and it took two weeks for the pain to disappear. I recommend u ask ur GP for difflam oral spray, this is the best thing and get sum ear muffs, cos u will prob get major earache x

thanks Kat! i seriously didn't realise it would be this sore !! its alright when the painkillers are working but when they start to wear off - arrrgh!!
its not even been a full week yet cos i had them taken out last friday and so i have just resigned myself to pain !!
