What can I do about water retention?


I've stopped taking salt BUT I drink at least 4 litres of water a day,and feel bloated

hi,are you sure its water retention?if its just regular bloating then you could take some peppermint tablets to relieve it x

....gets a diabetic check up too....


I suffer with water retention onece a month .....drinking green tea does the trick for me, doesn't taste too good but works wonders you know what they say stuff that doesn't taste good is usually the best cure. Or like the other lady said peppermint tablets I again drink Peppermint tea which is brilliant for your digestive system.

Hi if you are drinking that much water i would advise a diabetes check. this is how i found out I had it. 4 litres is a lot of water i was up to 6 or 8. The test only takes a min. and your gp will book you straight in if you mention diabetes. Good luck
