this weather!

Is anyone else finding today unbearable, not just hot, that i can handle, but it is so close and muggy. Is it the same where you are? I think it makes you feel a bit strange, heady and listless. Is it just me????

it's horrible, we had storms last night but it hasn't cleared the air at all!! it is cloudy and close with no wind and it's really hot!!

I'm just packing my case ray, is it ok if i pop up to Wales to see you?Get that kettle on, shouldn't take me long! Sounds just about right there. It is cooling downa bit here now but it really needs to have a good old storm. Doesn't always do the trick though as posy~jo pointed out. At least we could try though.! Hope you are well too ray, don't work too hard ;-)

It's been lovely here on the east coast (Norfolk ) all week.Very hot in the garden but am only ten mins from the sea so can paddle my tootsies to cool down ! Took my pooch on the beach very early this morning and he had an nice dip in the sea .I do feel sorry for people who have to work in stuffy conditions in this weather though.I used to have to do it myself. !!
I miss London where we used to live until three years ago ...but not in this weather ! It used to be stifling with the traffic and the smog that used to hang over us ....
Stay cool everyone ....we'll all be moaning it's too cold soon enough !

shaneystar I paddled my tootsies in the Norfolk coast at weekend and got very burnt feet :-( and what happened to the storms last night today is even muggier.

Never fear 4getmenot ...rain is on it's way as I type !
We are in Gorleston and the sky is looking a bit black to say the least .Last night was awfully muggy but it feels fresher now. Supposed to be a thunderstorm this afternoon.
I'm with you on the feet ....I caught the sun on my feet sitting in the garden and why do they always start itching at nightime !!

I'm near Norwich, we had a little bit of rain, but I want a massive storm. :-)

we didn't get the storm i'd hoped for last night but it is a lot cooler today. Just nice!!!!!
