Scarlett fever

Hi looking for help here. A girl i work with has just informed me her baby has scarlett fever. The doctor says she will be ok but does anyone know if this is contagious and if so how worried should we all be?

I wouldn't worry about it at all. It is mild (in most cases) infectious disease easily treated today.
