I was in Boots at lunchtime and this guy came up to me and said ' I just had to tell you that if I wasnt involved you would be just my type - but then you're probably involved as well.'He WAS on his own - but the spark was there and to ne honest he wasnt gorgeous but there was a connection.I have been left strangly disconcerted and I wouldnt like to think my man would do that - but it leaves you thinking - was he the one who was always meant for me.I know I sound tragic but has anyone else had Brief Encounters?

...about 18 years ago I was travelling alone from wales to manchester on the train, while changing trains in some obscure train station I was walking towards this guy,he looked straight into my eyes and the spark was electric, as we passed I thought to myself shall I look back, so I did , and he was looking back too, infact I think we both walked backwards along the platform in oposite directions... still makes me smile now when I think about it...... see why can't trains be late when you want them to!!!?...

Had this when i saw my now boyfriend a few months before we got together, knew each other but not that well and I walked past him in town, he said "Hi" and that was it, I got butterflies in my tummy, weak knees and couldn't speak! Still together nearly four years later so sometimes you really should follow your heart! Obviously not if you're involved though, can't chance a long lasting relationship on a fleeting moment!
