Selfish?

Hi, I am going away in 2 weeks with my sis and our mate1. there was another girl (mate2) who was supposed to come too, but she fell out with our mate1 over some money from the holiday when we booked it - we paid for it all there and then. Now, our mate1 didnt give mate2 her money back when she was supposed to, a week later and they ended up falling out. mate2 ended up cancelling her place, and expected my sister and i to do the same and lose our money, just because she didint want to go anymore. was she fair to ask this of us, or was she in the wrong? (she now does not talk to us as we didn't cancel our holiday.)

i would tell her to grow up if i seen her! but i know what she's like now, yet i missed talking to her. stupid, eh?

Also, at the end of the day, i've only lost one friend, she's lost 3 - and we were her closest friends anyway.

We've deleted each others numbers and when me and mate1 have seen her out on a sat night, she just gives us all dirty looks, which i think is pathetic, cos i haven't done anything wrong.
