Pain in my tummy

I had pains in my tummy for a while, i was told i had an infection on my left ovary. Has anyone had this before and does anyone know how you can get it?

Who told u it was that, did u go to a gaeni Doc? U need to, it could develop into a cyst, don't mess about get checked out.

please get to the hospital,i kept getting pains on my left side,left it for ages thought it would go,in the end i couldnt take it,doc sent me straight to the hos,ended up being a cyst on my ovary the size of a big water mellon,had cyst, ovary and tubes removed please dont leave it,they told me if i hadnt gone when i did it could have burst and infected my blood or even worse take care

Thank you for replying to my concern. I saw a doctor at a sexual health clinic who told me i had the infection on my ovary. I have been given 2 weeks of anti-biotics and have been told to come back in 3 weeks time. Im still very concerned about this, im worried it will effect my fertility. Its very scary :( Has anyone else had this? Does it have a name?
