There are certain parts of the body where it does hurt; the first one I jad done was on my stomach. when I turned up at the tattoo artist he said to me 'have you had a tatto done before?' I answered no. He said 'you're gonna feel this' Boy did I. It took an hour and was pure hell. I've had a further 7 hours of tattoing done after that which was a breeze

Nice Tats Booldawg but you surprise me saying the one on your stomach hurt !! My ex (far removed) had a few but said the most painful was one he had on his chest because of the bone. So I would have presumed that one on the stomach wouldn't hurt :-/

Just remembered a girl I was at college with had the surname Taylor she had a tattoo around her navel that said 'Taylor made' at the top & her year of birth at the bottom I thought that was pretty cool :)

ha ha to mycats ,I made the stencil in MS Word using something like Arial 72pt anf just took it along to the tattoo artist.! SloooJo, I've not had a tattoo on my chest so guess stomach was the most painful so far. But thanks for the tip - never get a tattoo on the chest!

i'm having a cross done in the next few weeks on the inside of my arm.

an unusual place for a woman to have it done i suppose, but the cross is very feminine and its what it symbolises that means the most for me i suppose

everyones tattoo has a story dunt it!

I got a rose on top of one arm,a native american feather on the other,having it attached to a dream catcher soon,i got a tribal and hubby and kids names on my back,hubby has tattoos all down his arms,bands and names, and on his neck and 2 native indians on his back!

I have 3. One on the back of my neck, another on the back of my right arm and one on the top of my back - left side. They each symbolise a certain period of time in my life and I wouldn't change them for anything - they are like a diary. I plan on getting another to represent my time in ole Blighty.
