Hello again,
It was suprisingly easy.
Mum is going through her Radiotherapy. She started last Wednesday. I went along with her to hospital on Thursday morning and the doctor said that she 'shouldn't worry too much' and that they'll 'hopefully cure the cancer. But they cannot guarantee it'. It all seems positive for her.
She is getting on really well, but really tired. She has the kind support from her loved ones which i think is helping her along.
I will be giving my medal to mum when I see her tomorrow, as she's the winner.
I will post a photo of me finishing the race. tomorrow i will post the piccy.
Thanks again for your kind support - if there were only more people in this world like you!
Much luv and best wishes

hello unruliejulie,
Thank you again for your kind donation - You are all so kind!
I think my mum is very proud of me. She doesn't say it but I can tell she is proud of me.
mum seems more positive now that the doctors said on Thursday for her not to worry too much and that they'd hopefully cure it. I think this is what we wanted to hear really.
When I was at Hospital with mum, it was really hard, seeing all of those ill people waiting for their radiotherpay. Some you could tell were ill and some you could tell. There was one little girl, about 9 years old, who was waiting for here radiotherapy. I had to hold a magazine up to cover my face so they couldnt see me crying. It was heart breaking to be there. But I didn't show any emotions to my mum as i didnt want to upset her.
I will be running the Great North Run for Children with Leukamia. I need to train really hard for that run though as 13.1 mile is a little far for me.
Thanks again for all of your support - together we can make a difference.
