Have you thought about using a method of contraception such as the Pill or Depo-Provera injection? These can make heavy periods lighter or stop them completely.
go to doc and see if they can recommend something,i was like that, having the coil fitted stopped it for me,its now at the other end of the scale, none or short and light!Obviously i'm not saying go get coil but maybe there is something for you!!
I am in the same boat as you.I cannot rely on tampons at all even with the highest absorbancy.I prefer not to pump chemicals into my body and disrupt my hormones.I just change the tampon every hour or so.It is very annoying but I get on with it.
Defo go and see the doc sarah, it must be so inconveniant (sp??!!) to have such heavy periods, needing to change a super + tampon every hour is madness lol. The doc will be able to help you with that - good luck!
Lil-lets do a super plus extra tampon, which absorbs more than a super plus. Have a look in your supermarket. I have heavy periods and they're a god send!
