pubic hair

why is pubic hair so thick and curly when the hair on your head is soft and straight ,also why dosn't a man go bald down there when they lose the hair on their head ?just wondering, another one of those thoughts that have popped into my head

I can tell you that when you get to my age (61, I know, i don't look it!), it will start disapperaing from your pubic area and start to come out of your chin.

Not all peoples hair on their head is soft and straight. Yours maybe but afro hair isnt. I think its because the hair follicles are different on your head to those in your pubic area. Hair follicles in the pubic area are less likely to be damaged as apposed to those on your head. But you'll find people with alopecia tend to lose their pubic hair also
