I didn't actually pick it, my parents named me Dorothy and my boss when i was 16 - 22 called me Dot and my ex husband's surname was hawkes and after I married him I became Mrs hawkes, so, not my choice see.

Used to do lots and lots of amateur musicals around west yorkshire - my favourite part ever was the part of Dolly Levi in Hello Dolly. The name has somehow stuck for years and many friends call me Doll. So when I joined AB i used the nickname I was used to - Dollie !!!
