When I got home from work my wife complained about the huge pile of ironing. She's gone out for the evening so i decided to take a look. A lot of it were towels, which I've folded and put away. I've ironed all my underwear (both pairs) toasty, and put the rest into a large cardboard box and put it in the cupboard under the stairs. PROBLEM SOLVED! When she gets home she will have a lovely surprise and I will get 10 out of 10 and a gold star.

Sitting on the washing machine while the microwave is on doesn't really count as having sex or doing housework or cooking.
your a right one you are.no i like to sit on the washer while having sex and wait for the micro to ding
Ha ha ha - you guys are so funny......

Just one thing -
what's all this 'ironing' n 'cleaning' stuff? Sorry, i don't understand...i think my husband deals with all that sort o stuff while i watch the footie......Lol
I long ago decided that life is too short to worry about ironing. If it doesn't show, it doesn't get ironed and I certainly don't iron sheets and towels. I make an exception for ironing pillow cases on guest beds. And I discovered when the washing machine broke down that when I washed my husband's shirts by hand and drip dried them out in the sunshine they weren't creased and didn't really need ironing either. Can't understand why people bother with ironing underwear, towels and sheets, etc.
Ironing underwear? never heard of such rubbish! Mr Pippa has to cope with wrinkly boxers and if he dares to complain I refuse to work my jaw muscles on a particular area of his anatomy.
Hey Pippa keep it clean, keep it clean!! lol :o)

Dare I say this on here?................

*whispers* I actually enjoy ironing!!......

No! I'm not taking any orders i.e. requests lol

But I don't iron undies or towels.....do they need it??
sounds like she's set you up as a right mug - ironing towels and undies???? boy what a mug you are!! ha ha!!

by the way, its a thankless job so don't expect a medal
Looks like I missed last nights banter, anyway in our house I do the washing and the drying, she gets to do the ironing and the puttig away.
SORTED.
What's this about women and what they call "MULTI TASKING" ?
Women are the best of " MULTI - TASKING " for example yesturday I took the cat to vets for 8 am for an operation, I came home stripped the bed and gathered all the washing up for washing, I then proceeded to do house work while each load was being washed and pegging it out on the line, I phoned the hospital to see if my husband was o.k. to come after an operation he'd had the day before. More washing and house work, I showered went to pick my husband up from hospital " minus his medication " it wasn't ready from the pharmacy " typical" got home settled my husband with a cup of coffee, I went to pick the cat up from the vets, brought washing in and put the last out. I then went to do my weekly shopping, came home put it all away ( the job I hate most ) then went back to the hospital to get my husband medication, I got home, by this time it was 7:30pm and was completely done in and very hungry as I'd had nothing to eat all day.
Sorry I was toooooooooooo tired to do the ironing, that will be done today.

That is "MULTI - TASKING " and I reckon I need a medal!........... XXX :-)
