If it was discovered that the earth would only be habitable for the next 5 years - what would you do/how would you spend the next 5 years.

I'd spend it trying to build a time machine.

cool robbo82 - but what would you do with the time machine - i always think you'd go back in time -
1) because we have some idea about history so would be able to blend in if necessary and
2) cos we don't know the future or if there is indeed a future till we get there.....

but then again i think aliens are us - evolved - in the future, visitng our ancestors....

mrrobbo15 - you would be a very busy man 'servicing' all those females - why not take a few mates....?
