(i'm a part-time cleaner) so i went to work this morning but only done an hour instead of the usual 2 because i was in pain i was crying coz it was really hurting. when i told him this he went mad and had a go at me coz we will have less money this week!!! (all of 5.00!!! )
and also i went to pay for my daughters school photo today in the office but i didn't have the correct money. the woman wouldn't give me any change even tho she has a till on her desk and told me to bring the right money in this afternoon. but when i went in this afternoon she told me i was 2 late and she had already sent the money off!!!! my husband had a go at me saying i should have demanded that she give me change this morning and altho i think she should have given me change i was not going to be rude to her (i wish i had now tho the miserable old bag!!) so he had a go at me for that!!! aarrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhh!!!! i'm glad he's at work!!

Part 1 : Poor you Posy-Jo , you sound like you have had a truly awful day. I agree with Ray , your health comes first so get yourself back fighting fit before you think about even returning to work and let hubby put in some extra graft if it bothers him that much. That's what partnership is all about - pulling together.
What a witch your daughter's school secretary is ! I wonder how she sleeps at night. All is not lost though. Do you know the name of the school photographer by any chance ? Was it Tempest ?

Part 2 : They account for a lot of the school contracts and I am sure that I still have the number somewhere. If you know who took the picture then you can contact them directly and request a copy of the picture. They may add a small fee to the original cost of the picture but it is usually minimal - I know from experience because I too once missed the cut off point for sending in money as I had just given birth to my youngest daughter at that point at it slipped my mind.
Do you still have the sample photograph ? This contains the unique indentifier number for your child's school to enable you to request a copy of the picture. By all accounts though the school SHOULD be able to request this for you but I wouldn't waste my breath if at all possible - I would go directly to the source. I thought that it was only me who has days like that ! Hope tomorrow's a better one for you x
Sorry , my last post came as you posted yours and I see now that you said that you were going to post a cheque anyway. Timing never was my strong point ! Seem to have a problem posting answer as well.
Never mind , sit down and put your feet up with a nice bottle of wine. It sounds like you're better off indoors ! Tomorrow's another day. Have fun spending and if your hubby is anything like mine , wait until he's engrossed in the footy and then choose to tell him what you have spent. He'll most probably not really be listening to you anyway but at least you can rest safe in the knowledge that yes, you did tell him and he nodded in agreement ! Take care x

I was only kidding Posy. We can but dream eh ? I can't remember the last nice thing I bought for myself. I always think of the kids and my hubby first and have to be dragged kicking and screaming in to a shop to buy things for myself ! We've tightened our belts since our third child was born last December as I haven't been able to work since then so it's only my hubby working for the mo. There would be no point as the cost of childcare is just too damned high for three kids.
I would be paying out so much that it would hardly be worth my while and i'd not be able to spend time with my kids. Instead , i'm going to wait until they are all at school before I return to work so that means cutting back a bit on spending. There's always the lottery in the meantime lol ! If only.
Tell your hubby how you feel and hopefully you'll get that cuddle that you so deserve x
