is this okay to use with tongue piercings? i got it today but i looked on the back and it says it contains alcohol so im not sure. The piercer when i got it done said to use warm salt water which i have been doing numerous times a day and after everything i have to eat/drink. She also said to try get hold of some antiseptic mouthwash. so i was just wondering if you think this is okay to use?
on the back it says "do not dilute" which also makes me think maybe not since it might sting.

sorry about all my questions about the piercing, i just want to make sure it doesnt get infected.

many thanks

This is the place my daughter uses:

They are great at giving out the proper info at the time of the piercing, too!

thanks pippa, theres some useful information on the site!

i dont live anywhere in that area though!

i think im gonna stick with my salt water and just wait until the swelling goes down. :-)
Aww it's shame you don't live in the area missjef ~ they are wonderful in there, I tell you!

Yes, good info so I thought it might be helpful to post you the link :o) my daughter is getting her lip pierced there next month, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place..when she got her belly button done I was told all about the procedure & aftercare in great detail ~ and my daughter was given a handbook too.

Hope the swelling goes down soon ~ I am sure the salt water will do a fine job!

it looks great there.

i got my lip done just over a year ago, swellings was not half as bad as my tongue!!

i was really upset when i got my belly button done because 6 months later it "grew out" and then i got it done a month after that and the same thing happened but after only about 1/2 months. its now a little horrible scar!! i was really annoyed because my friends got theres done at the same time and theirs is fine! i really wanted it to not grow out again the second time! ive decided not to get it done again after that!!
The only mouthwash you can use is listerine original or there's another one but it's not listerine... not very much help really! apparently you're not supposed to use mouthwashes that contain alcohol so no flavoured ones!
I used listerine original when I had my lip pierced. It was fine.

Don't fiddle with it!!!
I found corsydol mouthwash to be good.
