Sensible answers please - can anyone tell me what is the point of clear mascara? Is it supposed to go on top of normal mascara or used on its own....? TIA
Hi,
It's good for your brows as well, defines and keeps them in place if they're a bit unruly, also you can wear clear mascara and wash your face, or go swimming and it just washes off, rather then having to use an eye make-up remover. Also if you rub your eyes by accident you won't get the panda effect! : )
I like to use it during the day for work so that I have a more natural, fresh look along with tinted moisturiser on my face rather than foundation.. I use the clear mascara on my eyebrows too, works a treat!
Don't think there's anything worse than heavily made up women!
Ive never tried the clear one, ive tried that one where it has a 2 in 1 - black on one end of the mascara tube and white on the other end- its supposed to make your lashes appear longer, rubbish i could never put enough black on to cover the white and it looked a mess, i threw it away!
I have really long, thick eyelashes ( no hate mail please )and so I use clear mascara only : otherwise it looks like I have attatched shoe cleaning brushes to my eyelids, it also avoids that 'razor rash look' line just above eyelid where brush shoots off end of lashes and ruins make up.
the tips of my eyelashes are really fair so every three months i dye them black , then after i put foundation and eyshadow on, i use clear mascara to clean my eyelashes and i comb it through my eyebrows as a gel to tidy them up and set them
It could be for us people who have blonde eyelashes and don't want to darken them, but want to flatter them. I personally prefer to put "blonde" on which is actually a light brown.
I wear Clear mascara also for the same reasons as mentioned above. Also, when my daughter was about 9 or 10 and wanted to start with the whole make up think, I bought her a clear mascara and a nude colour lip gloss and some nice moisteriser. It helped her to pracice using makeup and meant that she could go out in it too without looking like coco.
She still likes the clear, natural look and I'm all for that. long may it last before her goth phase I'm sure!
I never even realised that such a product existed. Surely it can only have been invented to widen the product range and increase the profits of the cosmetics manufacturers.
Clear mascara?? Some gullible members of the public will buy anything !!
s'no different from wearing clear nail varnish, except on your eyes of course. It gives eyelashes definition and helps them hold their curl without colouring them also.
