Why do we still push our babies around in prams and buggies that are the same height as vehicle exhausts? Surely cant be too good for the kids can it?

Don't stress over it Rufio!
eh? My car exhaust is about 6 inches off the ground. Does your baby lie on a skateboard or something? Anyway, keeping prams off busy routes if possible is a good idea.
er my baby will be higher than the exhausts of a car, like jno said they dont go on skateboards!
it is bad whatever height. the fumes will rise anyway...
Thing that gets me more Rufio in the last few days I have seen so many babie's being pushed about with no sunshade whatsoever! in this weather! Not even the buggy hood up.
I get what your saying tho, babies being lower down so nearer to the exhausts but I don't think it makes much difference unless the pram is directly in front of the car exhaust.
ooh wingnut, you and me both!
what i find worrying is when smokers hold their cigarettes down at the level of a small child's face. I know it's meant to be so that adults don't have them waving around their faces but surely it's more harmful to a child....particularly a curious one!
when i was a baby my mum nearly punched a woman who was smoking as she walked past and she dropped the butt into my pram
