I'm 16 and don't yet have facial hair. For the past 6 months or so, there's only been one single white hair on my left cheek. It's not that noticable and I don't shave it but it grows back. It doesn't seem like a normal hair, it's thicker like the end end of a cats whisker. Why is it there ??

consider yourself lucky. shaving is a pain that i could easily live without. dont worry about it the hair will come

You are lucky. Wait until you are 21 and have to prove your age in pubs.

No special reason why just the one hair......though as snotmonkey says you'll look back at this one day and wish you didn't have the daily hassle of shaving. If it really annoys you and is noticeable then try getting it with a pair of tweezers. If you pluck it out it will stay gone much longer than shaving it and it will be kinder on the skin as well.

Don't worry M12. I never started shaving until I was at university and even now, at 50+, I only have to shave every other day. I just think of all the time I have saved.

Cherish this time! wait till you hit your 20's and you have to shave EVERY day it becomes a pain in the a*** especially if your tired. Oh and cutting chunks out of your face with a blunt razor is also fun.
