Sad also that she has now gone tyhe predictable blonde route. But I do believe she will have more success now than when she was black-haired and average looking. It's just a shame that she feels she has to conform to such an obvious stereotype.

Speaking as someone who has had a nose job I always cite what I always say when people say 'I couldn't be so vain'. ..." I couldn't see my nose unless I used contortions and about three mirrors but complete strangers could and frequently made unbelievably cruel and hurtful remarks about it often resulting in me in tears". Now I'm a pretty tough cookie but this totally undermined my confidence and eventually I resorted to surgery. Sadly most celebrities come under a lot of scrutiny about their appearance (only need to look at comments here - I'm not having a dig just pointing out what we all do!) but these celebrities are human too and I guess that they, like me, eventually go down the route of surgery to stop the hurtful comments. You're right Missjef she was very attractive - I too was 'striking' and wish I'd had the courage like Erin O'Connor (the dark one in the M&S advert) to not give in.
Am I sorry...no, would I do it again...every time, I've not had one cruel comment since and I am no longer defined as 'the girl with the big nose'.
