Bed sharing drains men's brains apparently and it has been proven scientifically.

I can see a lot of men using this as an excuse to love 'em and leave 'em,
'Of course I love you darling, but I need to protect my mental health. Bye!'

I have always refused to share a bed on a permanent basis - I love my own bed and my own space.

I hate lying in bed listening to a snoring, farting man all night long.

And it is so romantic to go padding across the landing.
Actually I would suggest it is the other way round, I have a perfect nights sleep every night. Not so for Mrs O, but then with this hunk of gorgeousness in the bed beside her it's no wonder she wants to stay awake all night.
this doesn't entirely bear out the experiences of parents, where it always seems to be the mother who sleeps more lightly, and is awoken by the slightest whimper, while Daddy snores through.
