why do women pierce their nipples?

when i was on holiday, i kept seeing women with skimpy tops on and nipples pierces...one woman was about 40ish, really huge knockers and both nipple with rings on...it was awful...i kept thinking she was like a big bull (only with boobs!) waiting to be towed away...yuck..i suppose a small one would be ok...but through the t-shirt..nooooooooooo ...or am i being old fashioned (well it was ibiza where anything goes!). sorry but i keep thinking about it and bolking! :)

Doesnt sound too appealing to me, but I did have my nipple pierced a few years ago (phase I went through, caught it on a car seatbelt and the phase ended quickly) but I didnt display it for the world to see. Im sure she thought she was a right fox though !

i heard of a woman on holiday who had got her naval pierced but to show thr piercing she had to lift her ample stomach to show it off honest noe that would put you off your tea !

Aaah,leave her alone,she's the one who has to live with it,however she looks or thinks she look,its her pain and if she's happy then good for her,same goes for everyone really!!!

i think naval piercing looks really horrible on big fat stomachs expecially through a t-shirt...no wait..much better covered i think!!! yuck!! i seen some horrible things on holdiay. also saw a he/she/it sunbathing standing up for hours and holding its bum cheeks open to let the sunshine in!! talk about the sun shining out yer ar6e!!!

same reason as piercing ears, I suppose... you think a little jewellery looks good, or makes you feel good. I've seen some daft earrings in my time too, but it's down to personal taste. And you can't very well go up to someone and say 'Right, you're 40 so you have to remove the rings'...

I suppose they think it looks nice - each to their own! Personally i think any kind of facial piercing looks awful - and also most tattoos - especially those on the lower back - now commonly known as "tramp stamps"

I've never heard that lower back tattoos are called tramp stamps. That's not very nice, is it!! I'm not a tramp, and I have one.

my problem re taoos is this when you are 65 years old or hopefully older and you are in hospital and being turned over to have your back washed do you really want everyone to see yout tatoo which says im sexy or similar ?
