I'll accept Scottish, Welsh, Liverpool as close runners, but Big Brother, goodness sake !!

Ten Fifteen AAAAEEEMMMM !!

All it needs is "the noo" to make it total gibberish.

just to point out that Marcus Bentley is from Sunderland NOT Newcastle - so has a mackem accent - not a geordie one!!!

It is a TOTALLY different accent and I wouldn't associate myself with it at all!!!!! 8-P

i've watched all of 5 seconds of that rubbish ...

why does that Geordie tw@t have to tell the viewers which room the people are in, and if they're standing or sitting?
I think its a great accent, my father-in-law is a geordie.

I cant understand a word hes saying half the time but its still a great accent.

naz, you forgot "the noo"

It's like leaving carrots out of a shepherd's pie.

I think the Scottish are fab the noo.
i have to say i love the geordie accent...very attractive! ;)
Just found out that he's actually from Gateshead not Sunderland - it's almost as bad though, its like a pretendie geordie!!!

for all you non-northerners - Gateshead is just on the south side of the River Tyne - opposite Newcastle so you need your passport stamped when you cross the Tyne Bridge + don't forget to get your injections!!!

petes_dragon ... I stand corrected ...but all those Northerners sound the same to us Cockerneys
Have never watched BB, so cannot comment on that observation.

Absolutely adore the Geordie accent!!

Could listen to it all day, every day...might have something to do with "When the boat comes in" on TV many moons ago - great prog, loved it!!
and you lot all eat jellied eels to us!! ;-)

A true Portsmouth accent is like hearing the voice of Lucifer himself.
Sorry Naz, but have to disagree...

I'm a Londoner (not cockney admittedly), but can always differentiate accents north of Watford !! Lol ;o)
all that said - I HATE Marcus Bentleys voice too, it is sooooooooooo annoying - and I only live about 5-6 miles away from where he was born!!!

I love the whiskeysheri accent!!!
i love it!! it's such a sexy accent!! xXx
Having lived in Birmingham for the last five years, I can officially say that Brummie/West Midlands is the worst accent.
Brummie IS the worst...totally agree...no offence to Brummies
I think the one I hate the most is Leeds - it just sounds so dull.......but I love the welsh accent!!

Brummie is tragic and awful. No offence to Brummies of course, but why can't they speak properly the noo ?
Nooo, Portsmouth, evil.
