When does comedy stop being funny?
5 Answers
Most comedy relies on a certain amount of political incorrectness to tickle peoples funny bones.
For instance, I love 'South Park', but am aware they often cross the line into downright offensiveness.
As an excuse to post this link (which I think is hilarious!), can people tell me if they think it is a) amusing or b) wrong? So I can see if I need sensitivity training. Thanks!
Apologies to anyone easily offended.

The point of a joke is that it isn't taken seriously.
If someone calls me a tw*t jokingly, then I take offense.. I'm giving them the control over my feelings. It's all about responsibility, responding with ability. I don't deny some things which people think are funny can be sick (usually if it involves a lot of pain, physically/mentally on another person/animal) then I just feel sorry.
Most things you should be able to laugh at though - like laughing at yourself if someone makes a joke about you. It shows you aren't insecure about yourself.

i love comedy be it political, religious, race, disability etc.
We have all at one time experienced jokes about each other, its part of human nature to laugh in the face of death, some people feel this is wrong, others don't have a problem with it, The PC brigade if they had their way would ban all comedians, the day this happens is the day we have lost it in society, i know their are certain subjects that are a ''NO NO'' but no one forces anyone to listen to jokes etc
I take the p1ss out of all aspects of life, i try not to offend personally to individuals, but i can also work out who/not to tell jokes too, one thing i will say is, ''DON'T TAKE THE P1SS OUT OF SOMEONE UNLESS YOUR PREPARED TO HAVE IT TAKEN OUT OF YOU'' i,ve seen to many arguments because of that statement
So hears to ''CARRY ON LAUGHING''

Hello Nemesis,
Most definitely a) amusing...very amusing!
I will laugh at pretty much anything so long as it doesn't actually purposefully hurt an individual, you know the sort of thing I mean? Those mean jokes between groups of so-called mates or colleagues when loads of people are laughing at one persons humiliation and misery. If it ends in an 'ism' then sod it, just laugh!
