does anyone have one of these or similar and do they work?

I had one, and used it daily for a year with no results at all. I am not fat, and just wanted to tone my stomach muscles. In the end I sold it on eBay. One snag is that the pads need replacing regularly, and they are very expensive. A friend bought one pf the facial units, and that was no use, either. Save your money.

Yes they work in as much as training the underlying muscle. People have unrealistic expectations and think the layers of fat covering muscles will disappear. You cannot spot reduce fat and it comes down to diet and exercise. However if you used the Slendertone and then lost belly fat through healthy lifestyle the abs would look sensational.
