greasy hair

i have greasy hair and i need a good shampoo and condittioner that doesnt make it even more greasy ! i also need a boost my hair looks really dull and good ideas before i go home??

I like the dove range at the moment.

I think that simple do a shampoo range which might be quite good as that shouldn't have anything in that would make your hair greasy.

I would recommend L'Oreal Elvive Nutri Gloss (the new-ish pink one) to anyone- it's brilliant. Your hair will feel gorgeous afterwards. xxx

I always find that instead of buying shampoo that says for Greasy Hair just buy it for normal hair. Works for me. :-)

Oh and to boost it dry your hair upside down. Or put big curlers under each side of parting for a bit while you put any make up on :-)

Oh and dont put conditioner on all your hair. leave the parting out, thats if you have one :-)

Whatever you do don't use any of the Fructis range. It was shown on Watchdog that it makes your hair more and more greasy each time you use it (as I found out). It's due to soemething called dimethicone, which the higher up the ingredients list it appears, the more likely it will make your hair greasy (whether shampoo or conditioner).

My aunt always used Linco Beer shampoo. I`m 53 & she used it on my hair when I was little. I have used it for years & my hair`s always shiny. It`s not expensive, but it`s excellent.

i wash my hair everyday i use john freida brilliant brunette, they do a rangle for blondes and red heads...i find it really works.

Kerastese also do one, cant remember the name of it but its in a white bottle with a grey lid. i get it from my hairdresser...i can go 2 full days without washing my hair!!

i have greasy hair and i find putting the shampoo directly onto my dry scalp, rubbing it in and then wetting it keeps it less greasy - aslo only put conditioner on the ends - never on your scalp

loreal 2in1 for dandruff works great for me and my hair can get very greasy. I do two washes with the loreal and the use dove moisturisnig conditioner (blue top.) Let it dry naturally to the level of towel dryness and then add some frizzease straigtening serum into your hair (purely optional).

The combo of loreal 2in1 and dove moistourisng is a very good combination though.
