Why do I feel so sad?

I have been stood up by a guy Ive been seeing a few weeks.Im so sad and feel so used. He did all the chasing, I said I wasnt up for a relationship in the beginning cos I didnt want to get hurt, now he stood me up no phone call nothing. are ALL men bastrds?

You must get in touch to show concern and find out if he has had a problem. It's old fashioned to think you should just put up with it and get mad at him him he has a lame arse excuse.

Hi Salamanda , Like Dot says ring him,maybe you scared him off a little bit by saying you didn't want a relationship. You are showing you are keen by ringing .Then you will know where you stand .Good luck.

Karma, cause and effect, pride? Maybe now you can see you can't avoid being hurt so may let the next people in more easily as you have far more to gain that way. It's a valuable lesson.

No they aren't, necessarily. But you won't have peace of mind until you know why. I'd find out and if he simply has changed his mind, move on and find someone worthy of you. Don't judge all men by one example. He may have a very good reason - you don't say how much time has elapsed. Good luck.
