If you kiss someone on the neck or throat, and open your lips slightly and suck hard, you will cause a distinctive bruise known as a 'love bite', or what Americans call a 'hickey'. If you use your teeth to actually bite the skin, the teeth marks will show as slightly darker bruising in the centre of the redddish / prurple bruising. They are not big or clever, to donate or receive.

The'yre not always deliberate you know, some people just get caught up in the passion! Personally i dont mind if someone leaves one on me, as long as its not a huge ****** that lasts for 3 weeks!
