Girly question....

My periods usually last 4 - 5 days on average however on day 3 it usually stops and then on day 4 I get the worst stomach cramps imaginable and it starts again. Does anyone else get this or know what causes it? The cramps are unbelievably painful and I know a lot of people get period pains but normally at the beginning!!
This has been going on for years and years but it doesn't seem to be getting any better.

apparently is nothing to get worked up about, thats what the nurse said, (nurse just happens to be a man)

day 1: light bleed
2: light bleed
3: nothing
4: headache, somach pain and bleed
5 bleed
6: nothing
7: light bleed

Mine is also like this...i take solpedeine because its the strongest thing i can find that takes off the edge of the pain.

Im 40 and yes v similar, days 1,2, more brown than red, then tails off, then very irritable etc and full on for 3 days. p.s. why do men NOT believe in PMT? I can feel mine coming on, get very irritable and a bit irrational and can cry over the slightest thing but he seems to think its just an excuse.
