Does Regaine actually work to regrow hair?

I am 25 and rapidly losing my hair, particularly on the crown, a sure sign of hereditary hair loss. My question is, has anyone used Regaine (the 5% extra strength version) and reported of new hair growing? Any other suggestions?

Cut your hair pretty short and don't get too caught up about it. I am my friends (25 yr old girls) all like guys who are losing/have lost their hair. I don't think it's the big deal men think it is, but I can imagine it must be hard. Main rule is don't EVER EVER get a comb over!

Ive actually let it grow a bit longer and thats covered up alright. I dont look good with very short hair because I got big ears! So thats no good for me :(

Accept who you are, big ears and all, don't fall into the trap of trying to convince people you have a good head of hair when you haven't. I started going bald early as well, about the same age actually, OK so I don't have big ears. My kids took the mick and so do other people, but offensively, just in fun, and if you can take that, then no problem!! I keep my hair short now and no one comments or gives a damn, OK so I'm getting on towards 50 now but was like this 20 years ago. Don't let it bother you and it wont bother anyone else, cut your hair short and live with it!!

I knew someone who tried Regaine. Didn't do a thing, the only reason that it might work for some men is because of rubbing the head so much that it could
stimulate the hair follicles! Take heed of the other ABers, and don't waste your money...
