needing to pee loads of times in one day
10 Answers
is there a reason why you would need to pee loads of times? like about every hour, and sometimes more.
for the past couple of days i've been like this, but i have no other symptoms of anything..like it doesnt burn, i have no pains, etc...nothing. [and no, im not drinking too much]
it's just really annoying, and a bit worrying, and i will be going to my doctor next week, but i thought i'd ask here to see if anyone knows.
i've gone through the list of stuff like cystitis, etc but can't find anything that it might be as i have absolutely no other signs of anything.
does anyone know what this might be/what might cause it/what i can do about it?
would love to get this sorted if i can!
thanks

Penny,
This could well be a sign of diabetes. It also runs in my family, and my mum jokingly said I would 'get it, one day.'
During a rountine check-up, the nurse found I have diabetes (and I am only in my early 20s). Following on from what you said 'I dont have any other signs of diabetes' I also, did not have any noticeable signs.
My advice to you would be to go your GP and to ask for a simple blood test, where they prick your finger and check your blood sugar level.
