sorry, was just copying and pasting from some online dictionary lol! and actually it lists trollop as a dirty untidy woman so not exactly the same. I'd say minx is used more loosely now, in a more endearing way than the definition I posted makes out.

The word 'minx' is usually preceded with 'saucy little' so I would think it means fair game.
I have had a fair dollop of vodka this evening though so please ignore me if I'm talking balls.

see thats what I mean jiggy-gb, my boyfriend calls me a "saucy lil minx" but he doesnt mean that I am dirty and untidy, or that I am a bit easy, rather it means more that I turn him on lol.

Sophie, that makes perfect sense to me. Terms of endearment come in all forms, sometimes perhaps sounding abusive or cheeky to others. If someone called me a saucy little minx I would just think they were having a laugh at how cheeky I am with everyone, though some women might think it means something else.

From all your answers - thanks and from what i know about the guy who siad he liked Minxy Looking Girls, I have deduced that he liked girls who look like they would be sexually naughty/adventurous etc.
