Spook radar?

Bit grim this.. when I was a babe in arms my parents visited loads of stately homes, old buildings, castles etc.. and without fail EVERY time I was taken to one, I 'messed' my nappy. When I got older this turned into a 'gurgly tummy' everytime I entered say an old medieval dwelling etc. These days when I visit old places I still feel 'creepy'.. Now I can understand that as an adult I'm aware of antiquity etc, but how come it had that strange effect on me when I was a wee babby. I can't remember those visits!.. Was I picking up on something spooky, or is there a rational explanantion?

Hi Morgus, Maybe because you got much attention and fuss for pooping in the stately place; baby then repeats on subsequent visits and behaviour reinforced. Or maybe you are a spook radar but did all those venues have a spook?

Maybe it was I have increased stomach activity when I get really stressed and children are more in tune to these things so when you were young it could have explained it . We say now if we are scared that we're '' shi****g ourselves not a very good fear defence though is it !!!
