Hi everyone, as some of you know, i've had some trouble with my knee, which needed a second operation. My firm can finance this under certain conditions, and as such, a request was put in. My boss came back after a couple of months, and said that they had turned it down, on the grounds that the first op never worked and the second may not also. I borrowed the money, and it was a success, but I also contacted the department that provides the finance, and it turns out that he never put the request in, which means, as far as I am concerned, he lied, put my career at risk, not to mention, my home, he's also taken a medical decision without being qualified. I now have a greviance going through against him, but does anyone think that I could sue him for the money I had to borrow, 2.500, All answers will be appreciated, thanks.

Lonnie, glad to see the operation was successful first and foremost, i believe you,ve a case for suing your boss/firm, hes not qualified to make such a decision, and your correct in taking out a grievance against him.

What representation do you have at your disposal, did i read right you are an underground driver, apologies if i have confused you with someone else
Hey Lonnie,

Sorry, I'm not able to answer your Q, but cut/paste and put it in "Law", there are quite a few ABers that look & reply in there that would have better knowledge on this...

Best of Luck, hope you can get a good result...
