Parma Violets - little purple, slightly chemical tasting things in a packet. Not sure if they still do them.

wow.. so , many sweets i had forgotten about.
After reading through some answers, i just thought of one more, can anyone remember little whitish bubble gums, that, wait for it.... tasted of the smell of germolene (sp) and inside the wrapper they had a little tattoo, with blue and yellow smiley faces on , which everyone seemed to put on their tongues for some reason....!!!!!!

Were they Bazooka Joes? I remember that germoline taste tho *shudder*
flying saucers, gob stoppers, aniseed balls ( you always got about 20 of them in every 10p mix) highland toffee bars, treats (just like peanut m&m's) bitza piza crisps, bon bons, astro belts (strips of sour ka ka plugh!)

just remembered, scented ottos (little squares of fruit flavoured hard boiled sweets) that my headmistress in my infants school used to give us when we went on jobs around the school!!!! lol
