my painful neck ?

whenever im using P C the top of my neck gets really painful and my fingers on left hand have gone numb. what am i doing wrong thanks ?

Your keyboard is too low causing your neck to strain, and you are probably resting your wrist on the edge of the table, causing a pressure point.
You need to keep your back and neck in a straight (ish) line with the keyboard at a comfortable height and the monitor straight ahead.
Your arms should be comfortable, with proper support at the wrists.

Ethel is right. It means you have it all positioned wrong! You monitor should be right in front of your face and your body shouldn't be twisted in any way! You hands should be able to rest completely easily and still type. Back straight.... you more than likely need an elbow rest too. Is there enough desk infront of the keyboard?

i didnt think any of me responses made me sound angry.
i never wish to offend anyone, i just type what comes into my head, and answer the question as i see it. whichj is what all this is about.
plus so many people self diagnose themselves... so in that partiucular thread, it just thought that if they had a broken knuckle confirmed then medical advise would already have been given at this stage.
