...Get the early slots in a day's schedule? When you've been waiting in for repairmen, deliveries etc and they give you a 6 hour period that you have to wait in for them, why does everyone else get seen before me? Am I the only one who always has to wait in 'til the last hour? How do you get in the first hour, aaaaarrrggghhhh! You jammy gits!

I hardly ever have to. get everything delivered to work and if its a repair man stamp your feet until they agree to a time :-)

I wish I could have 4getmenot, they could only narrow it down to 6 hours! Just so long as they can fix my telly when they finally do get here...
The way to do it is say you will invoice them for every hour you have to take off work. They panic :-)
The people who get the early slots are the ones who requested the late slots so they can have a lay in!
That is so very true, Loosehead!

LOL, that would make sense except I asked for an afternoon slot, just another 2 hours to go...
No doubt they will turn up at 5.55pm ~ that's what always happens to me when they tell me 'before 6.00pm'. The swines.

So they said afternoon calls only, and if i was out it would be a 45call out charge, and they never turned up....TWICE.
I lost 1 1/2 days holiday to get it fixed and it broke down 2 days later again,no compensation, but did offer to come on a morning as it was more convienient for their engineer!!!!
