I've just joined and answered a question twice they banned the first and not the second which was identically pressed again, does that mean the first one was accepted. Oh Im confusing myself??? In other words if we press submit with an answer and then press submit again will one of our answers be banned?

yes, one of your Qs will be banned as it is a duplicate. I have had several of those, nothing to worry about honest...no vendetta ;o)
